Go to the Business Card page on the MVP website. Here you can find all the elections we have on offer, which cover about 90% of the Business Cards we print.
Select your Print Specifications
We need the combination of Colour, Paper and Laminate you require
Colour
Do your cards have Colour (any Colour) on the card? If yes, select Full Colour. In CMYK printing, Colour is classified as Full Colour printing. If you are after Black only or want to convert to Black, you can use the cheaper Black and White option.
Pantone, Metallic and Spot Colour Printing
If you are after a Business Card that is specific (eg Outside normal CMYK/Mono range) we will need to do a custom quote for your Business Card. Click here for your Custom Business Card Quote and fill out the MVP Print custom quote form, and one of our sales team will come back to you promptly.
At MVP Print, we do Digital Offset Printing, so we can cater for PMS and Metallic Inks. They are Offset Printed, so need to be priced accordingly. Offset jobs need to dry, so take a little longer than CMYK Digital Cards
Die-Cut (or FormCut) Business Cards with MVP Print
Die-Cut cards are very popular and with our Digital Presses, we can do them in shorter runs. Die-Cut Business Cards have a ‘die’ cut around the edge of the card giving your Cards a unique shape.
With our precision cutting machines, we can offer both standard sizes of Die Cut (or Form Cut) as well as custom shapes for Business Cards.
Please be sure to send these also through the MVP Print Custom Quote form, as we would need to quote these individually based on price, Colour and Quantity
MVP Print Stock or Paper Choices
Like some other `famous’ printers in Australia who are owned by overseas companies, we are Australian Owned and Operated, and only use quality stocks
Most Business Card jobs are printed on 310gsm Artboard. You can choose to go Heavyweight (350gsm) or even Extra Heavyweight (400gsm)
There are also options for Envirocare – a 100% Recycled Stock, 350gsm Linen, and 300gsm System Board – a completely uncoated stock (think Coffee Cards). The is a plethora of other stocks on the market – please email us your requirements at sales@mvpprint.com.au and one of our MVP Print-friendly representatives will get back to you promptly with a choice.
MVP Print Laminate Options
You don’t have to have a laminate on your cards, but we recommend it.
Gloss Laminate
Gloss Laminate is the most common type of laminate for Business Cards. Gloss Laminated cards are very eye-catching and show off your design to its full potential.
Matt Laminate
Matt Laminate adds a softer touch to your card, making it look more professional and sophisticated than the glossy option. This type of finish is perfect for companies that want to have an understated look on their cards.
Velvet Laminate
Velvet Laminate gives your cards an ultra-smooth feel. Almost like a `Super Matt’ It’s perfect for companies that want to make a statement with their cards and stand out from the crowd.
No Laminate
If you don’t want your cards to be laminated, then they will come with an uncoated finish. However, please be advised that without a protective laminate coating, the cards may become scuffed and marked easily over time.
But if you are ordering a speciality card (eg Linen), don’t laminate them on both sides. It’s pointless having a speciality stock look if you are going to cover the card on both sides with a laminate!
How Many Cards To Print?
MVP Print recommends printing no less than 250 sets of Business Cards per order – this ensures the costs are kept as low as possible. We often get asked if we print Business Card orders in 100’s, or lower. The reason we have 250 as a minimum is because at that qty, most of the cost is in the Setup of the job, not the Ink or Paper. So theoretically we could print less, but the price would be the same as the 250 qty
At MVP Print, we can accommodate any number of cards from 250 to 1,000,000+ and the price per card will go down the more you order.
Do you have Print Ready Artwork ? MVP Print can Help…

Do I need a Hard Copy Proof ?
Generally, no. we are proud to say our Business Card Products are of great quality. But some clients want to see a printed version prior to printing the main run – so you can opt to have that done by clicking `Yes +$15

If you haven’t already logged in or registered, you can do this here as all your prior information is stored and you don’t have to fill in all your details again.
If a new client, please fill out all your specifications so we know where to send it to, your billing address and all the other nitty gritty bits and pieces.
IMPORTANT – YOU DON’T NEED TO PAY WHEN ONLINE ORDERING WITH MVP PRINT !
Why? Because this is done at the Proofing stage. More about that a bit later in the Article.
Add your Artwork
There is a button up the top left of the page, and also at the bottom right. Use either of these to upload your Business Card Print files.
Print Ready PDF files are by far the best for print. Other files are generally OK (Adobe again is best). Canva can be OK.. Word isn’t great. But upload what you have and we can tackle that later.
Now Click `Place Order’.. and you’re done!

What happens next?
We received your order, and one of our proofing team will set up your Artwork and Order in an MVP Print proof form.
This is an online link where we have checked your file, listed your order and we alert you if there are any issues with your Artwork. For example
If good to go, please approve and it will take you to a secure payment portal (or account if you have one). Complete that, click OK and we are printing !!
